In February 2026 I posted a series of LinkedIn updates that crystallised my investment philosophy around founder quality, repeat‑purchase economics, distribution as a moat, the rise of family‑office capital, and the shift to content‑first discovery in India.
I do not back decks. I back decision makers.
If the customer does not return, you do not have a business.
Distribution is not an afterthought. It is the moat.
Growth funded by narrative is fragile. Growth funded by repeat behaviour is durable.
Today, there are 400+ family offices actively investing, 30,000+ UHNIs across India, and over $1 trillion in wealth expected to change hands this decade.
Intuition doesn't scale, but structures and long-term thinking do.
Depth beats breadth (their consumer focus vs. spray-and-pray).
Content has replaced search as discovery.
Aspiration is seasonal. Context driven. Income linked. Socially influenced.
Trust drives the second. Habit builds the business.
These observations guided several concrete decisions: I back founders rather than polished decks, I prioritize repeat‑purchase metrics over hype, I treat distribution as a defensible moat, I allocate capital across listed, private, and treasury assets, and I invest in content infrastructure to fuel discovery.
