October 2026 Linkedin Posts

From linkedin.com/in/rishabhmariwala

In October 2026 I posted a series of LinkedIn observations that synthesize my thinking on Indian consumer brands, especially regional snack expansion, delivery‑fee dynamics, the importance of a concise value proposition, growth that creates choices, and the transition from buzz to habit.

India has hundreds of regional snacks that have been consumed for generations, yet relatively few have become nationally recognised packaged food brands.

A delivery fee, handling charge or minimum basket requirement may encourage them to add another item they weren't planning to purchase.

If your customer needs a five minute explanation before understanding why your product matters, that friction deserves attention.

One thing I look for in a business is whether growth is creating more choices or fewer.

Some companies become more interesting when their customers stop talking about them.

These observations drive my decisions: I balance recipe standardisation with regional identity, experiment with the ₹10 delivery fee versus bundling, enforce a ≤5‑minute pitch rule, prioritize assets that enable new‑category entry, and shift measurement from buzz metrics to habit metrics such as repeat‑purchase frequency.
