I have reacted to posts about reported real-estate purchases by wealthy technology executives. The transaction details below came from accounts I quoted or shared, and I did not independently verify them.
On December 17, 2025, I said Alex Karp’s reported Aspen-area ranch “straight up looks like a Minecraft spawn.” The shared post from @StockMKTNewz attributed its report to the WSJ and said Palantir CEO Karp reportedly paid a record $120 Million for a 3,700 acre ranch outside Aspen. It also said the property had been owned for about 70 years by an order of Trappist monks. These were claims in the shared post, not details I independently established; the post misspelled Colorado as “Colorodo.”
On January 8, 2026, I commented, “Bro is playing in creative mode.” The post quoted @StockMKTNewz, which attributed a report to the WSJ claiming Google co-founder Larry Page had reportedly bought two massive Miami estates for a combined $173.4 million. Those purchase details were the quoted account’s claim, not something I independently confirmed. The post included https://t.co/ri2FUcglNY; it does not identify who “Bro” refers to or explain my phrase.
