Ai Infrastructure Mega Investments

From x.com/ariesnotebook

I have reacted to several posts about large investments in AI infrastructure and the possibility of major data-centre expansion. The announcements and market claims below came from posts I quoted or agreed with; my brief reactions do not independently verify them. These developments fit into the broader competition described in the ai wars heat up.

On January 22, 2025, I wrote, “Acceleration is happening. Just wow.” I was quoting @america, whose post said President Donald Trump had announced a $500 billion private-sector A.I. infrastructure investment called “Stargate.” The announcement and amount were @america’s claims, not my own announcement.

On September 10, 2025, I reacted to a post from @ankurnagpal with, “Just a light $400B day lol.” The quoted post claimed Larry Ellison’s net worth had increased by approximately $400 billion that day and asked whether it might be the largest single-day increase in wealth ever. That was a quoted claim framed as a possibility, not a result I independently verified. The post included https://t.co/l50pzYkmrG.

On November 25, 2025, I wrote, “Money is infinite.” I was quoting @WhaleInsider, whose post said $AMZN had announced plans to invest up to $50,000,000,000 to build AI and supercomputing infrastructure for the U.S. government. The post did not establish whether those plans were carried out or provide further investment details.

On November 4, 2026, I replied “Lowkey true.” while quoting @harleyf. They claimed US voters had rejected data centres “everywhere they got the chance” and argued that investment must land somewhere, presenting Canada’s clean hydro, open land, and cold winters as reasons it could be a “massive” and “Generational” opportunity. My reply expressed agreement with their framing, but did not independently establish the voter-rejection claim or the scale of the opportunity.
