Learn Before Building

Founder conviction is an advantage, Unchallenged conviction is a risk.

I avoid reposting viral Twitter images with “haha, funny” and calling it content.

I advise founders to write on LinkedIn every day, focusing on concrete, product‑related anecdotes that show goals, timelines, actions, failures and fixes.

  • Decision: write daily on LinkedIn.

I speak to a lot of founders who understand that distribution is key when you’re building something from scratch.

I’ve been writing consistently on LinkedIn for more than five years, and the impressions and follower growth have obviously shown up.

My advice is pretty simple: write. And if you can, write every day.

Nobody is reading that. Everyone already knows it.

  • Reason: daily discipline yields measurable follower growth and credibility.
  • Decision: avoid generic viral reposts and motivational one‑liners.
  • Reason: they add noise and no unique value.
  • Decision: keep all content tightly tied to the startup’s product, market or problem.
  • Reason: consistency signals expertise and helps prospects/investors understand the business.
