I captured a brief insight from the SaaSBoomi session where Thiyagarajan Maruthavanan (Rajan) shared an “interesting way to understand whether your startup reached PMF or not.”

Interesting way to understand whether your startup reached PMF or not!

I received a request for a list of upcoming developer conferences in and around the Tricity/NCR region covering programming, hiring, full‑stack, AWS and GCP topics.

Hopefully #cvpr #icml #iclr will be hosted in India in the near future!

I expressed a wish that three flagship ML conferences—CVPR, ICML and ICLR—might be held in India, hoping it would boost the regional AI research ecosystem.

I recorded the AI Data Podcast episode “Garbage In Garbage Out” with Mathangi Sri Ramachandran, Chief Data Officer at Yubi, and published it on 2024‑05‑01. The episode link is https://lnkd.in/gPHF5udj. My main takeaway was that people trump technology – hiring the best talent matters more than the best data, GPUs, or LLMs.

On 2024-07-20 14:00 UTC I observed that despite ~700 000 LinkedIn professionals in Chandigarh, there are surprisingly few technical meetups, so I started organizing 1:1 meetups and already shared one set of learnings publicly.

On 2024-07-20 14:00 UTC I noted: "In Chandigarh, I can find around 7 lakh professionals on LinkedIn."

On 2024-07-20 14:00 UTC I observed: "However, the number of meetups in areas like software, SaaS, machine learning, computer vision, speech recognition, DevOps, marketing, etc., is surprisingly low."

On 2024-07-20 14:00 UTC I decided: "To address this, I’ve started doing 1:1 meetups with a few individuals."

Amit Sharma cited a $750 billion annual spend by U.S. legal professionals, with contracts being a primary GenAI use case.

Labellerr reports that tasks once taking a year now take less than a month, thanks to efficient AI‑driven workflows and “10x UX”.

I emphasized a human‑in‑the‑loop approach because legal outcomes demand reliability that only expert judgment can guarantee.

On 2024‑08‑23 I showcased Labellerr at the CII Northern Region Chandigarh Startup Conclave, thanks to the support from Innovation Mission Punjab and CII staff, especially Vishal Thakur.

  • Panel hosted by Somveer Anand, CEO of IMPunjab, who received a well‑deserved award.

I posted on 2024-11-22 16:28 UTC: I am excited to be part of #MLDS2025.

I am organizing a larger informal AI meetup in the NCR (Delhi/Gurugram) weekend for 15‑20 computer‑vision professionals. The venue should be centrally located, offer a café or co‑working vibe, allow a drink or two, and provide a relaxed atmosphere for a few hours of networking and discussion.

NCR AI meetup target attendance: 15‑20 professionals.

I’m excited to attend the Machine Learning Data Science Conference 2025 in Bengaluru and discuss agents, computer vision, pipelines, training data, and the keynote.

I announced that I’m organizing an offline Generative AI meetup in Chandigarh for the first week of March 2025, aiming for a casual vibe with games and snacks to foster informal networking among AI professionals and enthusiasts.

Excited to share that I’ll be speaking at MLDS 2025 on Day 1 in #Bengaluru February next year! 🚀

In just 20 minutes, I’ll dive into our mission to make AI accessible at scale by enabling AI teams to build and fine‑tune models faster.

The key? Unblocking training data generation at million‑scale images/videos in days, not months.

It was great to present Labellerr on the topic of computer vision in manufacturing 4.0 automation to autonomy at ATCx AI for Engineers.

You can attend my session on demand if my topic resonates and hear from world renowned thought leaders and industry experts to explore showcase real‑world applications of AI across product development, manufacturing, and high‑performance computing (HPC).

On 2025-07-22 I posted a reminder for the Bengaluru community to watch a video they might have missed.

Audience: Bengaluru residents.

Action: watch the referenced video.

Business runs on trust, and if technology vendors and manufacturing business owners need to maintain trust and adopt technology then compliances is one of the key components just like focusing on being environment friendly in business.

I received a plant from ASSOCHAM as a momento and token of appreciation.

I shared the stage with Aman Mundra, Saiyam Pathak and Dr. Kapil Mehta and met more folks in the technology space.

I shared an interesting outreach tool highlighted by Raj Shamani at the India AI Impact Summit 2026 and invited contacts to add me on Happenstance so we can search each other's networks.

I prefer using Happenstance for network search.

I feel the summit’s management was a disaster and believe the only way forward is to accelerate planning and execution, borrowing the speed of the Chinese Spring gala.

My decision is to push for the fastest possible action for the India AI Impact Summit 2026.

I noted that the India AI Impact Summit 2026 spans 5 days, and that my impact depends on selecting the right day or session.

  • Summit duration: 5 days.

I watched the Founders, Inc. Physical AI Hackathon live from San Francisco’s Fort Mason. The event showcased a dramatic collapse of the “Sim‑to‑Real” gap, with about 300 builders moving directly from code to atoms by deploying on Unitree Robotics G1 humanoid robots.

I observed that the "Sim-to-Real" gap has collapsed during the hackathon.

I counted 300 builders moving from code to atoms deploying directly onto Unitree Robotics G1 humanoids.

I spent 48 hours watching the live feed of the hackathon.

Great line up of speakers though i believe the seats are almost full by now!

The near‑capacity signal suggests I may need to cap further registrations; I’ll monitor the sign‑up flow closely.

I announced the GITEX AI EUROPE conference in Berlin (30 June – 01 July 2026) and invited innovators to join via https://lnkd.in/e7r6iXQc.

The event targets thousands of AI and cybersecurity leaders, positioning Berlin as a central hub for European tech innovation.

I also posted a campus‑wide call on 24 April 2026 to meet #ai, #entrepreneurs, and #robotics groups at the Thapar Institute during the second half of the day.

I presented at the Shark Event during TiECON Chandigarh 2026, addressing investors, industry leaders, and ministers, and thanked Innovation Mission Punjab for the platform.

I likened the shift to the rise of Infosys, stating that we are at a new wave of #physicalAI and data infrastructure where building the foundation is the real opportunity, not just applications.

I delivered a hands‑on session at Thapar University Venture Labs on translating a Business Model Canvas from paper to actionable steps, aiming to demonstrate actionable entrepreneurship to students.

I met faculty from Mechanical, Electronics, Computer Science and other departments, and toured the mechanical workshops to assess lab capabilities.

  • Student project categories presented: MSME

The professor leading the workshop mentioned that the next advanced version of the lab is already coming soon and the current setup will soon be outdated.

TIET infrastructure is moving at a really fast pace, a complete shift from what it was in 2007 to now.

I was honoured to be invited as a guest speaker at the International Conference on AI, Research & Creativity at Khalsa College, Amritsar on 2026‑04‑04, where researchers, educators, and innovators gathered to explore how AI is shaping education, agriculture, and society while highlighting creativity and responsible technology use.

The venue’s cultural heritage – “the land of Gurus, home to the Golden Temple, a place that teaches humility, seva, and values” – reinforced my message of collective responsibility.

On 2026-07-26 I led a full‑day session at the Indian School of Business Mohali campus where batch 9 of the Advanced Management Programme in Business Analytics built a functional AI app in six hours.

The total building time was 6 hours.
