GitHub Actions is GitHub’s integrated CI/CD and automation platform. It offers a variety of hosted runners—including Linux, macOS, Windows, ARM, GPU, and container environments—so I can build and test any project. I use matrix workflows to run tests in parallel across OS and runtime versions, store secrets securely, and spin up multi‑container services with Docker‑Compose directly in the workflow.
The free tier provides 2,000 minutes per month for public repositories.
Additional Linux runner minutes are billed at $0.008 per minute.
Additional macOS runner minutes are billed at $0.016 per minute.
Additional Windows runner minutes are billed at $0.032 per minute.
