Us China Rivalry And Diplomacy

From x.com/ariesnotebook

I have reflected on the possibility of future conflict, diplomatic visits, and the way geopolitical competition could shape AI and commerce.

On November 25, 2025, I said the next world war would be “literally out of a sci-fi movie.” I hoped it never happened, but said “the oceanic currents of history” suggested it would happen someday. I offered no evidence for that prediction. The post quoted @HowThingsWork_ claiming China had built a cannon firing at 7x the speed of sound, and linked https://t.co/ozGUkCgsrI; that claim was theirs, not independently verified by me.

On November 25, 2025, I said I might be in China around the time referenced in a post by @WatcherGuru and called the timing “Epic.” The quoted post said President Trump had accepted an invitation to visit Beijing in April and invited President Xi Jinping for a US state visit later that year. Those were @WatcherGuru’s reported plans, and the post did not specify which year or confirm the visits. It linked https://t.co/B1RSXfKh3g.

On April 27, 2026, I wrote that AI is not just a technology race but a geopolitical one, with distribution, data, and infrastructure splitting into two worlds. I said this mattered more than many people think to those building in AI or e-commerce. I used a post by @etnshow about China blocking Meta’s reported $2 billion acquisition of AI startup Manus as an example, while explicitly qualifying it: “Whether this specific deal is real or not.” The acquisition and regulatory claims were @etnshow’s, not independently confirmed by me. This perspective connects to the broader competition in the ai wars heat up and my observations about chinese companies on the world stage.
