Spacex S Wild Business Story

From x.com/ariesnotebook

I’m struck by how access to capital and advances in rocket recovery can make ambitious space-company growth and engineering possible. My posts also show that I appreciate the excitement and sportsmanship surrounding these developments.

On December 24, 2024, I wrote, “Access to capital enables a lot of interesting things.” I was reacting to @SpaceXSI’s announcement of a $6B Series C, which said the financing would accelerate progress. The announcement named a16z, Blackrock, Fidelity, Kingdom Holdings, Lightspeed, MGX, Morgan Stanley, OIA, QIA, Sequoia Capital, Valor Equity Partners, Vy Capital, Nvidia, and AMD, among other investors. Those financing details and investor names were @SpaceXSI’s announcement, not claims I independently made; the captured post does not identify the company behind the announcement or specify what progress meant.

On January 16, 2025, I said that SpaceX’s Super Heavy booster being caught for a second time almost felt normal, and that technology was amazing. The report of the second successful catch came from @unusual_whales’s quoted post; I did not describe how the catch worked.

On November 13, 2025, I called it pretty cool that multiple space companies were catching rockets. I was reacting to @disclosetv’s report that Blue Origin had successfully caught the NG-2 rocket booster. I did not name the other companies or say when or where the catch happened.

On November 13, 2025, I said I loved seeing the sportsmanship after @elonmusk congratulated @JeffBezos and the @BlueOrigin team. The congratulations were @elonmusk’s words; my own comment was that I liked seeing the sportsmanship.

On June 14, 2026, I reacted to the SpaceX IPO by saying it made the air feel like “lock in season” for me, and called it “a wild business story.”

On June 16, 2026, replying to @BillAckman, I agreed with his statement that one thing making SpaceX valuable is how valuable it is, writing, “So true.”
