Launch Before It S Perfect

From x.com/ariesnotebook

I encourage taking action and launching before everything is polished. These brief posts express a bias toward beginning, even when the first version of a product will not be good.

On November 17, 2024, I urged people to “Launch something this week.” I did not say what to launch, who should do it, or what “this week” meant operationally.

On January 2, 2026, I captured the view that “The people that succeed are the people that launch.” The post does not define what launching or success means.

On January 8, 2026, I agreed with @levelsio’s “Shotgun to Sniper Strategy,” a broad-to-focused approach credited in the quoted post to @marclou. The idea is to try many ideas and launch projects and MVPs, put a Stripe buy button on everything, and use traction, virality, revenue, and whether revenue persists “like months” to decide what deserves focus. Once something shows promise, concentrate on building it into something big. I liked the strategy because it gives me “tons of data to make decisions from”; the post does not specify how much traction or revenue is enough.

On April 3, 2026, I urged myself to launch a Meta ads test, post, and act rather than wait. I did not describe the test, its audience, budget, timing, or success criteria; the post also included https://t.co/WO4v2wt4PE.

On October 1, 2026, I expressed a preference for acting sooner on a good plan rather than waiting for a perfect one: “A good plan executed today is better than a perfect plan executed next week.”

On January 9, 2025, I wrote that the first version of a product will not be good, then urged people to launch anyway: “Just launch.” I did not specify a product or define what would make its first version good.

On February 19, 2025, I described it as a great day to take “massive imperfect action” while being present and grateful for life. The post included a link, but its destination is not captured.

On December 7, 2025, I wrote “Game is game” while quoting @sinacrisps. The quoted announcement was theirs: they said they had made SINA crisps, described them as 100% organic, fried in virgin coconut oil, and made with 3 simple ingredients, and invited people to try them in January through a signup link. The year for that January, the ingredients, and the availability and purchase details were not specified. The announcement also included #raypeat and #organic.
