I’m interested in clever fixes for real-world problems, including ideas about reducing plastic waste and using unusual technologies to tackle practical challenges.
On October 26, 2025, I quoted @forallcurious’s claim that a fungus in the Amazon rainforest naturally consumes plastic and could help save the planet. I added, “Earth clutching it out lets goo.” The captured post provides no study, scientists’ names, measurements, or evidence for the claim, and I did not explain my wording. It included https://t.co/LWlp9sc95D.
On November 19, 2025, I called a product idea “epic” in response to a post shared by @Rainmaker1973. That post said NASA engineers developed a way to extinguish fires using low-frequency sound waves, and credited sambentley. My reaction does not establish technical details, testing, or deployment; the shared post included a link.
On February 15, 2026, I wrote, “Someone needs to figure out how to turn plastic into energy.” I did not name who should do it, propose a conversion method, or describe an existing project or result.
