I’m drawn to futuristic products and technology that make me curious or excited, even when a post leaves important details unanswered. My reactions range from enthusiasm about military AR and VR systems to admiration for an electric vehicle demonstration; they also connect to robots rapidly gain new skills, self driving transforms everyday life, and creative drones in air and sea.
On May 30, 2025, I replied “This is awesome” to a post by @PalmerLuckey. His quoted post announced a collaboration between Anduril and Meta to make AR and VR systems for the U.S. military. He described them as “the world's best,” said the effort would leverage Meta’s XR investments for troops, and claimed it would save lives and dollars. Those details and projected benefits were his claims; I gave no further explanation or independent evidence.
On October 18, 2025, I expressed strong admiration for the products being made at the time, calling them unbelievable. The post did not identify the products or their makers, or explain what made them remarkable.
On November 17, 2025, I wondered whether an unidentified item linked in my post would ever become commercially available. The link was https://t.co/B9XiarkLjq, but its contents are not captured, so I cannot tell what “these” referred to or make a definite prediction about availability.
On January 3, 2026, I said an electric vehicle looked awesome while sharing a post quoting @BYDCompany. That quoted post described a YANGWANG U9 soaring 6 meters at 74.5 mph, “on its own,” and called the event “the future, in motion”; it included https://t.co/3Ef3Q1BbWr. Those figures and descriptions came from @BYDCompany, not from independent verification in my post. The capture does not clarify the operating conditions or what “No driver” and “on its own” mean in practice.
