I have compared Bitcoin with gold through brief reactions and predictions about tariffs, convenience, spending, and scarcity. These posts record my opinions rather than evidence that the predictions came true.
On May 23, 2025, I replied “True” to @saylor’s quoted statement, “No Tariffs on Bitcoin.” My affirmation gave no further explanation.
On October 15, 2025, replying to @notthreadguy, I predicted that people would find buying physical gold inconvenient and choose digital gold instead: “They’re gonna realize buying gold is a pain in the ass and go for the digital gold.” I did not define digital gold or give a timeframe for this prediction.
On October 17, 2025, I connected newly minted gold that could not buy Labubus with a possible Bitcoin moment, writing, “I think Bitcoin is gonna happen.” The post does not clarify what that prediction meant.
On January 13, 2026, I contrasted Bitcoin with a gold discovery, writing, “They can’t discover more bitcoin.” The post quoted @GlobeEyeNews, which reported 7.8 million ounces of gold discovered across 4 exploration sites in Saudi Arabia; that report was theirs, not mine. My post did not explain who “they” referred to or give evidence for my Bitcoin claim.
