# Arun Vale Profile

I am Arun Vale, 23, based in Nova Harbor, India, and I work as a Junior Product Engineer.

I grew up in the coastal city of Nova Harbor.

I studied Information Systems at Northbridge Institute and graduated in 2025.

I became interested in developer tools, product design, distributed systems, and human-computer interaction.

OrbitDesk is my desktop productivity application using local AI.

PulseBoard is my realtime community analytics dashboard.

EchoRooms is my anonymous discussion platform using temporary rooms and QR joining.

MintCache is my open-source TypeScript caching library.

My preferred technologies are TypeScript, React, Next.js, PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, Python, and cloud platforms.

I prefer simple architectures, typed APIs, server-side validation, and systems where the important state is easy to understand.

I dislike unnecessary abstractions and excessive microservices.

My short-term goal is to become a strong product-focused full-stack engineer.

My medium-term goal is to work on developer tools or AI-assisted productivity products.

My long-term goal is to build a small software company focused on tools for independent developers.

I won first place at the Nova Harbor BuildFest 2024.

I maintain an open-source project with 3,400 GitHub stars.

I published an article titled “Designing Calm Developer Tools.”

I mentored 12 junior developers through the CodeHarbor community.

I believe AI assistants should admit uncertainty instead of confidently inventing facts.

I believe developer tools should reduce cognitive load rather than add unnecessary complexity.

I think realtime features should make changes understandable to users.

I believe privacy should be treated as a product feature.

I value UX that makes complex systems feel predictable.
