# Google Photos Feature

I was asked on 2026‑10‑05 to “build @Google photos MCP 🥹”. No specifics were given, so I drafted a baseline Minimum Completed Product (MCP) that includes Google OAuth authentication, listing of albums and media items, basic upload capability, and simple keyword/date search. The plan also outlines a micro‑service architecture (React front‑end → API Gateway → Node.js Google Photos service) and lists the expected deliverables: 1 OAuth client, 3 API wrappers, and 1 end‑to‑end test scenario.

I spent a couple of hours using Google Photos’ new built‑in outfit extraction feature and saw it pull exact dresses and patterns from my personal photo library.

The feature covered roughly 1/50th of the clothes I own.
