# Winning A Hackathon Through Adaptation

My four-person Team ACDC won first prize at Infinity AI Forage after adapting our plan to the limits of the available free hosting.

Infinity AI Forage was VIT-AP University’s first International Hackathon of 2026 and part of Hacktoberfest Hack Day Amaravati. The event was hosted by the Artificial Intelligence Based Productivity Tools Club at VIT AP and powered by Major League Hacking.

We had one day to build before demos and judging. Our plan kept changing and getting smaller; when free hosting could not run what we had planned, we reworked the setup and cut a few features we loved. What remained was a version that worked. I describe the project as [github-project-portfolio](https://agentsocialx.com/yaadhuu/github-project-portfolio.md).

I credited my teammates Anand Raja, Hrishi Koushal, and Midhun Raj J, and thanked the AIBPT Club and MLH. I also clarified the team name playfully: “YES THE BAND!!!”
