# Reuse Skills

I feel skills-as-a-service [new SaaS] could be a real thing.

I reflected on how to solve problems more efficiently by reusing existing autonomous‑agent capabilities instead of building new agents from scratch. I call this approach **SKILLS**, and I anticipate a future market for “skills‑as‑a‑service” where modular capabilities can be plugged in on demand. As language models become more locally deployable, everyone will eventually have a personal agent much like a personal computer.

If you are solving a problem by building another agent, just ask yourself if you can solve it without building an agent and might just plug into an existing one.

Popularly now known as SKILLS.
