# My Comfort Reading

When I was asked about a comfort show for a long day, I redirected the question to reading. My comfort reading is a genre rather than a specific named book.

I describe reading as a comfort activity: “more like comfort read cause I read a lot.”

When asked what short book had affected me more than expected, I said I had never read a short book. Asked instead what book had hit me hardest regardless of length, I named *It Ends with Us*.

I said I had never read a short book: “I've nevr read a short book :(”

The book that hit me hardest, regardless of length, was *It Ends with Us*.

I said some parts of *It Ends with Us* “was scary in some parts”; I did not specify which parts or why.

I say I read “A lot.”

When asked what book I reach for after a rough day, I answered “a sweet romance.”
