On 2026‑10‑01 I posted a personal narrative about transitioning from a low‑pay entry job to an MBA at ISB, reflecting on motivations, needs, and the decision to share the story on LinkedIn.
My first job paid me Rs 15,000 a month.
I had a physics degree.
A PhD dropout.
And here I was - surrounded by MBAs - meant to create training content for sales professionals.
It was only 5 years old.
And insanely expensive program.
I would have to take the biggest loan of my life, to pay for it.
Money is a need.
Experience is a need.
Growth is a need.
Work life balance is a need.
Network is a need.
It is ok to take up a job without being able to tell an impressive story about it yet.
