I introduced Encore, a service built for leaders who feel pressure to have all the answers, offering a safe space to ask unanswered questions and receive diverse perspectives.
I decided to structure Encore around a small, carefully curated group of fellow leaders so trust and depth of discussion can thrive.
I chose to include experienced leadership coaches to provide expert guidance alongside peer input.
I emphasized that conversations continue beyond the boardroom, so learning persists outside formal sessions.
My goal is to make the experience of leading more thoughtful, more connected, and more rewarding.
- Form peer groups with limited size, selecting complementary experiences and perspectives.
Open questions remain: what is the optimal size of an intimate leadership group for effectiveness; how are coaches matched to groups; what measurable outcomes will be tracked; and how will Encore sustain conversation continuity after formal sessions end.
- Pair each group with one or more leadership coaches who facilitate dialogue and give feedback.
- Use video content to articulate the Encore experience and invite participation.
