Mathematical Intuition And Problem Solving

From my notes

I find the harmonic series surprising: “sum of 1/n from 1 to inf is not bounded.”

The contrast that stands out to me is that “terms are decreasing yet it explodes.”

My approach to computation is: “if i can think i do it if it seems too overwhelming lets involve silica”.

When asked for an example of involving computation, I mentioned “matrix matrix multiplication.”

I expressed my view that “maths has more to do with words than the numbers,” and gave algebra as an example.

The open question I most want to understand better is “NP=P”.

I do not know what I think about whether computers are smart enough for P and NP to be equal: “dont know what i think is computers are smart are they that smart”.

When I get stuck, I try “small small steps to what the question has given”.

I joked about when taking small steps helps: “if actual truth than very less but just to lie it always helps xd”.
