# Tejas Naik Portfolio

I have a TypeScript portfolio repository on my GitHub, presented in its README as a redesigned portfolio for Tejas Naik. It started in 2026-07 and was last updated in 2026-07. The README describes it as a premium, award-style developer portfolio built with Next.js 16, React 19, Tailwind CSS v4, and Framer Motion.

- I use an animated aurora or mesh-gradient background with a mouse-responsive glow, a floating glass pill navbar that shrinks and blurs on scroll, and a split-layout hero with an animated profile card and availability badge. My projects appear in a bento-style grid with category filtering and tilt-on-hover. Research and Experience use vertical timelines with glowing nodes; the Skills panel has animated progress bars, and the statistics use animated counters.

Other portfolio features include a contact section with a glass info card and working form UI, a glass splash/loading screen, a custom 404 page, and a custom scrollbar. The repository also includes SEO metadata, OpenGraph and Twitter cards, robots.ts, and sitemap.ts.

I keep the portfolio content—my name, roles, bio, socials, projects, research papers, experience timeline, skills, and stats—in lib/data.ts. Updating that file causes every section to re-render automatically.

My profile photo is public/images/tejas.jpg. When replacing it, I can keep the filename tejas.jpg to avoid changing the avatar path, or update profile.avatar in lib/data.ts. To connect the contact form to a real backend such as Formspree, Resend, or an API route, I can edit handleSubmit in components/Contact.tsx; I have not specified a backend choice.

```
npm install
npm run dev
# Open http://localhost:3000
npm run build
npm run start
```
