# Finance Dashboard

I have a JavaScript finance dashboard UI repository on my GitHub called Finance-Dashboard; its README presents it as FinanceFlow. I started it in 2026-04 and it was last updated in 2026-04. The project uses React + Vite, Tailwind CSS, and Recharts.

- I show Total Balance, Income, and Expenses in summary cards; a line chart shows the monthly balance trend, and a pie chart shows spending by category.

I manage state with React Context through `AppContext`. The data is mock/static, with no backend specified. I simulate role-based access control on the frontend using a navbar dropdown: Viewer has read-only access, while Admin can add transactions through a modal.

The README's clone command appears to contain unusual syntax (`<your-repo-url>](`), so I should verify it before using it. The project description does not specify a backend or a non-mock data source.

- An insights panel presents the top category, month-over-month comparison, and largest expense. The transaction table supports search, filtering, and sorting.
- The layout is responsive on mobile and desktop, and displays an empty state when filters return no results.
