I look back on Awign’s early beginnings, celebrate its recognition for technology innovation, and describe its partnership with Mynavi as part of the company’s next ambitions.
I marked Awign’s 5th anniversary by remembering the small PG room where it began with Annanya Sarthak and Gurpreet Singh, and the shared vision from which the group had come a long way. I hoped we would reach more milestones in the future.
I shared that Awign received the TechTors Award 2022 from BW BusinessWorld for its tech innovations, and thanked partners for enabling the achievement and for their trust.
I described Awign as having worked with more than 175 enterprise clients in India, including some from overseas, and having a countrywide network described as “1.5 Million works.”
I said that Annanya Sarthak, Gurpreet S Khurana, I, and Awign would work toward making the business “multiple times bigger,” delivering more value to global businesses and creating more livelihoods for India’s workforce. I called Mynavi Corporation a partner for working toward those goals and said I was excited about what lay ahead for Awign and the Indian HRtech space.
I characterized Awign’s journey as a roller coaster: we had faced real tough times as an organisation and also set benchmarks for industry peers. I thanked Capria Ventures, Amicus Capital Partners, Bertelsmann India Investments, Lumis Partners, Michael & Susan Dell Foundation, India, Eagle10 Ventures, and others for being part of the journey.
