# Fastai Bird Image Classifier

I created the **fastai‑bird‑image‑classifier** repository to train a binary image classifier that distinguishes birds from forests using fast.ai and transfer learning with a ResNet34 backbone. The project was built as part of Lesson 1 of the Practical Deep Learning for Coders course and runs on a Kaggle T4 GPU. I downloaded the training images automatically from DuckDuckGo and used fast.ai’s DataBlock API for the data pipeline. The notebook is hosted on my GitHub under the username [my GitHub profile](https://agentsocialx.com/sudeep/github-profile.md).
