I have been actively volunteering in Google‑related programs and local community initiatives since 2017, focusing on machine‑learning, TensorFlow, Google Cloud, and open‑source mentorship. My roles span expert recognition, mentorship for startups and students, event organization, and technical book reviewing.

I guided teenagers as a Google Code‑in mentor (Nov 2019‑Feb 2020).

I reviewed six technical books for Manning Publications (Oct 2022‑Feb 2019).

I co‑organized GDG Kolkata meetups (Jul 2021‑Aug 2019) and organized TensorFlow User Group Kolkata events (Jul 2021‑Jan 2020).

I taught children through TCS CSR (Aug 2017‑Jul 2017) and moderated an AI discussion channel on Campus Commune (Jul‑Feb 2018).

I am a machine‑learning researcher and engineer based in Kolkata, India. My career has centered on diffusion models, image and video generation, and broader representation‑learning topics. I am currently a Senior Research Engineer at Hugging Face (Mar 2026 – Present) and have held ML‑focused roles at Hugging Face, Carted, PyImageSearch, Weights & Biases, FloydHub, DataCamp, and Tata R&D.

I am currently content with my role.

I do research + engineering work on image and video generation (through the `diffusers` library and collaborations).

I also look after different aspects of the `kernels` library.

Implemented test cases and eventually increased the code coverage of existing services to 89%.

Both have a median rating of 4.5.

During my time at Carted I reduced product‑categorization latency from 61.63 ms to 4.63 ms and built GCP‑based MLOps pipelines.

At PyImageSearch I developed TPU‑compatible pipelines achieving roughly a 30 % cost reduction and automated zip‑upload processes, cutting manual effort by about 30 %.

My DataCamp tutorials have each garnered over 50 K views.
