Vritti, originally named GigShield, is a parametric income insurance platform for gig and delivery workers that I built for Guidewire DEVTrails 2026 and later showcased at the Centific hackathon.
I built the fraud detection microservice in FastAPI with five validation layers: GPS zone, behavioral baseline, cluster consensus, temporal anomaly and anti‑spoofing.
It watches disruptions like rainfall, AQI (SAFAR), heat, curfews and platform outages, checks them against worker location and activity history, and is designed to pay lost wages out over UPI without a manual claim.
The microservice is done and team integration (Neon PostgreSQL, n8n) is the next step.
