September 2023 Linkedin Posts

From linkedin.com/in/rishabhmariwala

In September 2023 I posted a series of LinkedIn updates covering risk‑to‑learn mindset, consumer research rituals in supermarkets, long‑term employee retention at Kaya, thought‑leadership since 2003, participation in the Aikya Connect Forum #Dubai 2023, and the importance of progress over perfection.

I adopt a “risk‑to‑learn” mindset: “Don’t be afraid to risks. Either you win or you will learn.”

I conduct a ritualistic field‑observation in supermarkets: “Whenever I'm on the road, I have this little ritual I love to indulge in – visiting supermarkets and exploring the diverse range of categories within the FMCG world.”

Team longevity at Kaya is remarkable, with many members staying for 15‑20 years: “What stood out for me was seeing a lot of our team members have been with us for the last 15-20 years, embodying the spirit and values of Kaya.”

Kaya has been positioning itself as a thought leader since 2003: “Kaya being a thought leader since 2003.”

I will speak at Aikya Connect Forum #Dubai 2023 together with Gaurav Ahuja, Nitin Reen, and Rohit Batra: “I’ll be joined by Gaurav Ahuja, Nitin Reen, and Rohit Batra.”

I stress that progress matters more than perfection: “Embrace the idea that progress is often more important than perfection.”

I outline the essential steps to build a startup: “There’s no one right way to build a start‑up.” followed by “But there's no other way of building a start‑up without: - Trying - Failing - Iterating - Learning.”

  • Adopt risk‑to‑learn mindset
  • Conduct supermarket observation rituals
  • Retain talent for 15‑20 years
  • Highlight thought‑leadership since 2003
  • Participate in public forums with industry peers
  • Prioritize progress over perfection
  • Follow the Try → Fail → Iterate → Learn loop
