In mid‑October 2026 I rolled out several durability and performance enhancements for Vercel agents, announced the free Beam model, and showcased a faster TypeScript compiler.

`libfx` version **v0.0.14** now ships with a durability adapter, making `createFxAgent()` durable on laptop, cloud, Postgres, and Vercel Workflows.

The durability adapter re‑uses Vercel’s workflow and queue infra, promising "reliability with 1LOC".

The Beam model is offered **free** on Vercel AI Gateway for a limited time.

`tsc‑ts` compiler is **2‑4× faster than `tsgo`**.

These changes aim to reduce friction for developers building long‑running, resilient agents and to showcase Vercel’s AI performance leadership.
