I see this as a one of the biggest gaps when freshers enter into AI development without first gaining domain or software and data development experience!
One of the reasons why majority of the companies don't prefer to hire freshers for ML.
Freshers doesn't mean someone graduating, because even college students those who know how to manage time are able to gain real deep experience during their college and many has worked with Labellerr in the past like this.
- Companies where experienced students landed: Google, Microsoft, CRED, Navi, IAS.
- Platform where prior experience was gained: Labellerr.
I find it really challenging to work with freshers who are looking to get paid before they deliver any value or even make sense why they should work with the organization. Luckily time and again we got some folks who are exceptions!
