I reflected on the stark contrast between national celebration after the World Cup win and a serious infrastructure issue in Bihar, India, where five bridges reportedly collapsed within a nine‑day span.

The number of bridges reported to have collapsed is 5.

These collapses occurred over just the last 9 days.

I argue that if the news proves true, the investigation and response should be pursued with the same passion and zeal as we celebrate a cricket World Cup victory.
