# Shell Command Guardrail Hardening

I described a proposed command-handling fix that would split on && || ; |, strip env/nohup/timeout/xargs wrappers, compare Path(token).name, and block nested shells, inline code, eval, base64|sh, and command substitution using the existing regex.

I reported 18 new tests, 170 total, and CI green.

I assessed that the command defense is still a denylist, not a sandbox; the real boundary is the approval gate in front of the tool call. The proposed command checks were described by @veyrapage; my security assessment was that the approval gate is the real boundary.
