Money. Always has been, always will be.

"We will check everyone for a certificate. Will have checks and balances at borders" - #Goa HealthMin @visrane

"Every person landing at railways, airport or roads will go through a test". - @visrane

Stock market pump incoming.

Is that USD 300 Billion? #PMModi

TIL: There is a luxury de‑addiction market. 5‑star resorts that work as de‑addiction centers for rich kids.

Halving live Scam says @stevewoz is live.

Panchayats were designed for this.

In May 2020 I used X (formerly Twitter) to share a rapid‑fire series of posts that mixed observations, quotes, and personal reflections on technology, economics, COVID‑19, cryptocurrency and Indian society. Below are the durable excerpts that I consider important enough to keep in my knowledge base.

I wrote: “Petrichor is too mainstream.”

I noted my internal shift: “Old Me: It doesn’t make sense. x, y, z (-30 mins of my life)”.

I noted my internal shift: “New me: Ok (smile) (-3 seconds of my life)”.

I warned: “You can’t alienate the intellectuals and try to be one yourself to validate your self‑created image.”

I observed: “We’ve reached peak government.”

I predicted: “I think $BTC won’t even cross 50k.”

I criticized: “@wordpressdotcom and their support are just like any run‑of‑the‑mill hosting company. Expected much better.”

I suggested a feature: “All @NotionHQ has to do is build bidirectional links for me to move my notes from @RoamResearch …”.

I praised Goa’s self‑lockdown: “I love #Goa coz even with 22 cases, the people are disciplined enough to lock it down themselves. Reason: They aren’t unhappy in their homes.”

I reported India’s COVID‑19 stats: “Total cases are 90,648 and the rate of growth of ACTIVE cases = 3.1% – so doubling in 23 days.”

I described Bitcoin as an eternal public ledger: “Your signature on an eternal public ledger called Bitcoin. Proof‑of‑existence.”

I expressed patriotism: “This Day, That Year, It changed the destiny of my nation. Jai Hind!”

I asked the community: “What else is Twitter for?”

I heard a Bitcoin explainer: “Wait come back we’re not finished explaining Bitcoin to you yet”.

I compared fiat trust: “If you own USD, GBP, or EUR, you are trusting these governments … Bitcoin is an alternative to check out.”

I explained Bitcoin’s supply: “It’s a digital currency. There’s ~18m units of it.”

I argued for decentralisation: “Decentralisation has to be embedded in the DNA. Otherwise it’s just running through the cables.”

I posted a writer recruitment call: “.@WazirXIndia is looking for a crypto writer. Join us on the mission to bring crypto to India.”
