X Posts June 2011

From x.com/pareen

In June 2011 I posted a stream of X updates (tweets) between 01 Jun 2011 and 29 Jun 2011. The content mixes a job advertisement, political commentary, tech grievances, a security incident, and assorted retweets, all using typical Twitter‑style syntax with @mentions, hashtags and short URLs.

I shared a job posting: “www.redcom.in is looking for an experienced Web Developer. Please pass this message to any of your friends/contacts. Salary 20k-30k.”

I quoted a political observation: “Obama thinks ATMs and automated kiosks at airports curb employment.”

I reflected on a century‑old optimism: “A century ago, people thought that a connected world will be more peaceful because people will understand each other better.”

I critiqued economic models: “Industrial age "profit" cannot be the foundation of a 21st century global economy. It's time to reimagine and reinvent it.”

I vented about support forums: “#rockettheme support forums suck big time. Posted a prob since 3 days, no reply as yet.”

I reported a security incident: “Indian Govt's website hacked http://p1n.in/hac2” (RT @maheshmurthy).

I highlighted a monetary policy comment: “Discouraging corruption by banning larger denomination currency wld create lot more probs. Inflation demands the reverse.”

I retweeted a motivational quote: “Every time you make the user make a decision they don’t care about, you have failed as... - @azaaza http://t.co/vMtumZH”.

These posts illustrate my habit of using X to voice opinions, share information and amplify viewpoints through retweets.
