# Validating Ai Visibility Results

I shipped an AI visibility checker in a single day. It asks AI assistants questions customers actually ask and checks whether a business or its competitors are named; I learned to verify that answers arrived before interpreting a clean-looking result.

My first check came back 0 out of 48 with zero mentions, but no answers had arrived at all.

The free models were rate-limited and the paid ones had no balance; I concluded that a zero built on no data is not a result, it is a missing test.

I switched routes and re-ran the checker; this time the answers were real, with still zero mentions backed by 48 genuine replies naming competitors.

I rebuilt the runner in parallel, and a near half-hour check now finishes in about a minute.

By evening the product had logins, a dashboard, automatic checks, and downloadable reports.

I do not write every line by hand; I direct the tools and check the evidence.
