# Agentic Design Patterns Acknowledgment

I open this book with a heartfelt dedication to my family and a gratitude list for the many colleagues, teams, and external pioneers who made this work possible. All royalties from the book are pledged to Save the Children.

To my son, Bruno, who at two years old, brought a new and brilliant light into my life.

To my sons, Leonardo and Lorenzo, and my daughter Aurora, my heart is filled with pride for the women and men you have become and the wonderful world you are building.

I was first challenged to return to my interest in Agents after an initial interest in 1994.

I helped ship three Agents at Google I/O 2025.

All my royalties are donated to Save the Children.
