# Invsto Stock Forecasting

I built the invsto-stock-forecasting repository on GitHub (@nikhil9622) to compare ARIMA and XGBoost models for forecasting five major tech stocks.

- The project started in November 2025 and was last updated in November 2025.
- Data are downloaded from Yahoo Finance via the `yfinance` library for tickers AAPL, MSFT, GOOGL, AMZN, TSLA covering 2015‑01‑01 to 2025‑11‑23.
- The pipeline runs: download → clean → feature‑engineer → train ARIMA → train XGBoost → backtest.
