On 2022-01-13, I said I would love a job in history/psychology—not because I am an expert, but because I enjoy reading about those subjects. I also invited people to share what they would switch their day job for, proposing to gauge how dream jobs had changed in 2021 and asking respondents to include their age and current job for context.

I wondered whether, in 50 years, the richest countries might also have the least number of people, and whether countries could bid for talent as companies do today across geographies and levels.
