On 2021-06-14, I clarified that it was ridiculous to think I had really beaten Vishy sir in a chess game, comparing that claim to waking up and winning a 100mt race with Usain Bolt.

I had seen the event as a fun charity game between amateurs and India’s greatest chess champion, but said that did not excuse what I did: it was wrong, and I sincerely apologized.
