Sound Classification Teachable Machine

From linkedin.com/in/kanz-nazakath-6090a9292

I completed Task 3 of my internship by building a sound‑recognition model with Google Teachable Machine, without writing any code. The model distinguishes three audio classes—clap, snap, and whistle—using recordings from my laptop’s microphone.

  • Steps I followed:

my_sound_model.classes = clap, snap, whistle

my_sound_model.misclassification = very soft clap → snap

  1. Open Google Teachable Machine and create a new Audio Project.
  2. Add three classes labeled “clap”, “snap”, and “whistle”.
  3. Record multiple normal‑intensity examples for each class using the built‑in mic.
  4. Click “Train Model”.
  5. Test by producing each sound and observing the predicted class.
