# Police Prevent Democratic Question

I commented on the contrasting roles of the CEC and Delhi Police, noting that the CEC’s whole job is “making sure people can vote” while the Delhi Police’s whole job was “making sure people can't gather to ask him a question”.

cec.mandate = making sure people can vote

delhi_police.mandate = making sure people can't gather to ask him a question

both_institutions.performing_job = perfectly honestly
