# Packaging As Brand Storytelling

I learned from Nitin Tiwari that packaging should first tell the brand story before it tries to look pretty. When I apply his four‑step method – define the story, audience, intent and why, then translate those into structure, colour, typography and material – the result feels alive and meaningful, like the packaging itself is speaking.

Decision: Prioritise the brand narrative over visual aesthetics because the story is the core driver that makes packaging feel alive and meaningful.

Decision: Align design elements (structure, colours, fonts, material) with the brand story to create an intuitive emotional response.

I thanked Gurpreet Badwal for the mention and affirmed that packaging can signal who I am, not just what I sell.

The idea that packaging can signal who you are, not just what you sell, is spot on.
