# Password Vault Security Demo

Implemented password hashing, secure hash storage, JWT‑based authentication, CORS handling, and security event logging in the PVault project.

I used a robust algorithm (bcrypt/argon2) to hash passwords before persisting them in MongoDB Atlas, issued signed JWTs on successful login, configured Express middleware for CORS, and logged each authentication attempt with timestamp, IP, and user‑agent.
