# Rtx 40 Manufacturing Unlocker Question

I queried @ShyVortex whether the rtx40 manufacturing has become an unlocker that supports xesss and dlss for the 40 and 30 series, and if this will be added to their fork.

I also asked @ShyVortex whether the mfg unlock 1.7 was added by dash and which configuration—dlss unlocked or the opti nr fork—is being used.
