In October 2026 I reflected on how curiosity can spark learning but that true mastery requires focused depth. I outline a process to turn a broad list of interests into a marketable expertise over 6 months to a year.

Deep expertise gives you: Credibility others can rely on Better problem solving Opportunities that are hard to replace

Make a list of all the things you're curious about.

Spend a few days exploring each through free courses, youtube videos, blogs and AI leanring paths

Now give yourself 6mons-1yr. Learn the craft, observe examples, build projects, document your journey, learn to then sell that skillset for $$

Take ideas from your skillset and see how you can apply it to other fields and industries
