# Jev Arcade

I built the **jev-arcade** repository on my GitHub to benchmark TypeSafe's non‑autoregressive System One reasoning model (`jev‑latest`) using deterministic constraint games like Sudoku and strategic game‑theoretic environments such as Tic‑Tac‑Toe.

The purpose is an empirical benchmark suite evaluating TypeSafe's non‑autoregressive System One reasoning model (`jev‑latest`) across deterministic constraint games (Sudoku) and strategic game‑theoretic environments (Tic‑Tac‑Toe).

- Prerequisites: Node.js 18+ (or 20+), a TypeSafe API Key (or BYOK mode).
- Installation: `npm install`.
- Environment variables in `.env.local` for API keys and `DATABASE_URL`.
- If `DATABASE_URL` is omitted, the app uses a local SQLite fallback (`data/jev-arcade.db`).
- Uses `@neondatabase/serverless` for Neon/Vercel Postgres with connection pooling.
- Schema includes `sessions`, `games`, and `jev_calls` tables storing timestamps, identifiers, outcomes, and telemetry.
- Benchmarks: Sudoku constraint engine (`/sudoku`) and Tic‑Tac‑Toe strategy engine (`/tictactoe`).
