In October 2026 I shared a LinkedIn post celebrating the growth of Composio, the company founded by my IIT Bombay batchmates Soham Ganatra and Karan Vaidya. I highlighted their core hypothesis that AI agents are only as useful as the tools they can reach, noted that the platform now processes more than a billion tool calls per month, and announced the launch of Instant – a built‑in wallet that lets agents pay for tools autonomously.
Founders: Soham Ganatra and Karan Vaidya – IIT Bombay batchmates who started Composio in 2023.
Core thesis: agents’ utility equals the access they have to tools.
Tool calls per month: > 1,000,000,000 (as of 2026‑10‑14).
Product update: Instant adds a digital wallet so agents can pay for tools on their own.
I expressed pride in the founders’ progress and linked the success back to our shared IIT Bombay roots.
