In early October 2026 I posted on X about how behavioral interviews should focus on two critical questions and how the trade‑off between speed and perfection varies across company cultures.

Behavioral interviews aim to answer two critical questions: “Do you fit with both the role and the company?” and “And if you do fit, at what level will you be most effective?”.

If you get the fit wrong, you will be rejected no matter how skilled you are.

Moving fast and fixing issues later demonstrates good judgment at a growth startup but recklessness at an established healthcare company.
