# Mailmind Github

MailMind is an AI‑assisted Gmail inbox manager.

It connects a user‑owned Gmail account, syncs messages in the background, classifies and searches the inbox, and suggests safe cleanup actions for user review.

It does not automatically delete email.

Frontend stack: React, TypeScript, React Query; provides a responsive dashboard and cleanup review UI.

Backend stack: FastAPI, Pydantic, JWT auth, SQLAlchemy + Alembic.

Data layer: PostgreSQL with pgvector extension; idempotent Gmail persistence; full‑text search.

Background processing: Redis + Celery for non‑blocking Gmail sync and retries.

The initial sync test creates 500 records from 500 messages.

A repeat sync creates zero duplicate records.

Deployment can be self‑hosted via Docker Compose or run as a public SaaS using Cloudflare Quick Tunnel for short demos.
