# Breakloop Github

I built BreakLoop, a Chrome extension that curbs doom‑scrolling on YouTube Shorts by limiting how many Shorts you can watch per session and enforcing mindful breaks.

The extension’s source code lives at https://github.com/Eshaj20/doomscroll-breaker.git.

It is written in JavaScript (ES6) and targets Manifest V3.

I set the Shorts session limit to 10 Shorts per session.

When the limit is reached, the extension forces a 2‑minute break before allowing further scrolling.
